At Old Time Prims, we do not have the time to create every single thing in our product photos, especially skin, hair and shoes. We might someday, but for now, we do have some favorite places.
Virtual Haiti Relief:
Skin:
- Chaisuki
Absolutely gorgeously detailed skins by Chaisuki are aimed to please. Though a skin that looked simply “not weird” was good for 2006, Chaisuki takes it all to the next level. Her gorgeous skins have absolutely perfect shading at every angle, perfect wrinkles at the elbows, hands, knees and feet, and little moles here and there. Our favorite part at Old Time Prims, however, is the belly button.
Hair:
- Ingenue [Website]
Large range of hair easily used from the 1920′s through the 1950′s. Beautiful work done with sculpties and coiled prims to make hair look realistic. Can also be modified if you use a non-standard hair color. She’s also got some adorable outfits that I have seen across the world of SL vintage.
- JetDoll [Website]
Excellent hair for the normal girls of the pre-1960′s eras. Also some adorable outfits to be found here.
Shoes:
- 1-800-BETTIE’S [Website]
For several years, an excellent place to get vintage shoes, as well as some adorable vintage clothing.
Women’s and Men’s Clothing:
- Sonatta Morales Weird Couture & Curio [Website]
For absolutely glamorous evening wear, visit Sonatta Morales. Her attention to detail allows her to create absolutely stunning gowns!
- Doc’s Men’s Wear
As those of you who visit our flagship store will already know, we have kiosks for Doc’s Men’s Wear right in Old Time Prims. Why? Because we feel that Doc’s provides the best vintage men’s wear on Second Life.
